NRAS Art Submission Guidelines
For All Shows and Exhibits.
1. Artwork done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible for any show except a student exhibit.
2. No wet paint will be accepted.
3. All work must be properly wired and ready to hang. Work should be firmly framed with sturdy screw eyes and strong wire. Frayed wire ends should be taped. No saw tooth hangars.
4. Sculpture submissions must provide a clean, presentation quality base for display.
5. Artwork must be original and not copied, adapted or based upon another artist's or photographer's work. Artist must be willing to produce their own reference material if need be.
6. All artwork must have been completed within the past 3 years.
7. Artwork accepted by slide or jpeg must be identical to the accepted image.
8. Refer to individual Call for Entries for specific requirements for that show.Refer to Call for Entries as to whether you can enter work that has shown at NRAS previously.
9. NRAS reserves the right to reject any artwork that does not meet the above guidelines.
10. Artwork is not to be removed before a show is over.
11. Artwork that is not retrieved after a show and has remained at NRAS for six months becomes the property of NRAS to use at their discretion.
12. NRAS will not be responsible for damage to artwork or framing before, during, or after their shows.
