Colors of Joy, by Rita Brace
Rita's painting is featured on the 2012 Festival of the Arts Poster and other promotional materials. She won the Commonwealth Hematology/Oncology $500 First Prize for her entry.
During the Festival of the Arts on Memorial Day weekend, Colors of Joy will be on display, and will be raffled 50/50 to benefit North River Arts Society. Poster art jurors were Anne Heywood and Ron Wilson.
PLEASE NOTE: OLD MAIN STREET WILL BE CLOSED TO VEHICLES FROM 10-5 ON MAY 26 & 27. WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE OBSERVE AND OBEY ALL "NO PARKING" SIGNS POSTED ON NEIGHBORHOOD STREETS. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING PERMITTED IN AND AROUND THE MARSHFIELD HILLS CEMETERY.

Dear Festival Friends,
The Hills are alive with the sounds of preparations being made for the 36th Annual Festival of the Arts sponsored by North River Arts Society. The celebration will once again begin with our Gala Preview party on Friday evening, May 25, from 7-10 p.m. There will be multiple tents with bars and food. Awards to artists will be presented at 8 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, May 26 and 27, the Festival will be open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
rain or shine.
