The North River Arts Society‚s 26th Annual Holiday Art Sale will take place
this year on Saturday, November 17 and Sunday, November 18, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the G.A.R. Hall in Marshfield Hills. The sale is
again being held the weekend before Thanksgiving, giving us a jump on the
Holiday Season. We look forward to your participation and expect even
better sales than in previous years!!

anyone who would like to participate in this year‚s Art Sale, please let us
know and we will be happy to send information to them.

• Artists may submit oil paintings, watercolors, acrylics, etc. to the sale.
Up to 20 pieces of work - framed or unframed - may be submitted. NOTE:
Paintings previously submitted to the NRAS Art Sale are not eligible for
entry to this sale.

• The price range for the sale is $15.00 to $399.00. Please keep your
prices reasonable to encourage sales. The popular price range for artwork
sold tends to be $25.00 to $75.00.

• Each artist may enter ONE piece in the „Gallery on Stage‰ which is devotedexclusively to higher priced paintings ˆ over $400.00.

• A $10.00 handling fee per artist will be charged regardless of the number
of pieces submitted to help defray the administrative and advertising costs.

• For each piece sold, member artists will receive 70%, NRAS 30% and
non-member artists will receive 65%, NRAS 35%. New artists may join NRAS at drop-off. A check will be sent to each artist for total work sold as soon
as possible after the Sale.

• Please affix a label to the back of each piece of work listing: title,
medium, price, name, telephone # and I.D.# (see sales form).

• Works may be delivered to the G.A.R. Hall on Saturday, November 10 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, and on Tuesday, November 13, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Unsold works may be picked up on Sunday, November 18, from 4:00-6:00 p.m., or on Tuesday evening, November 20, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Works not picked up will be subject to a storage fee of $1.00 per day.

• Artists are asked to make two lists of work submitted on the enclosed
forms ˆ one for NRAS records and one for your own records. Submit NRAS copy with the $10 handling fee at time of drop-off.
