Healing by Dianne Panarelli Miller and Christine Shea

Christine and Dianne lost their husbands who were diagnosed with cancer and died within six weeks of each other after almost 2 years of sickness. They traveled and painted together for the last two years to overcome their grief. The paintings are a result from their travels and painting times together.

Dianne Panarelli Miller is a World renowned  artist painting in Canada, Bermuda and Europe. She is an award winning Boston-based “Plein Air Painter” of color and light and is a Copley Master and a member of the Salmagundi Club in New York. Her approach combines the classic Atelier training of the “Boston School” with a mastery of technique of her own personal style expressed through the harmony  of color and design.

Christine Shea has painted most of her life but got serious after classes with Dianne. She is a member of the Plymouth Art Guild and other local art associations and galleries as well as the Naples Plein Air Artists. She is also part of a residency program on Nantucket. Since the death of her husband, Christine started Art Therapy classes for widows and widowers using art and holistic healing to overcome grief. She is now accepting new members.
